Module 25: Dashboards & Reporting with Claude Code

Scenario

Cloudsmiths' CISO wants three deliverables every Monday:

1. A single-screen posture dashboard for the leadership channel.
2. A compliance brief for the audit committee.
3. A team scorecard for engineering managers.

You'll build all three using Claude Code's artifact capability + Prowler MCP, and put them on a schedule so they generate themselves.

Loop step taught here: the reporting side of the loop in Module 22: turning Prowler's deterministic results (prowler_get_findings_overview, prowler_get_compliance_overview) into audit-ready evidence. The Prowler queries work from any MCP-capable agent; the artifact features below are specific to the host (Claude Code/Cowork-style), so other agents can generate the same Markdown/DOCX or a script-built HTML page instead.

Learning objectives

1. Build a Claude Code artifact (HTML/JS page) that reads Prowler MCP live.
2. Use the artifact host's MCP bridge (e.g. window.cowork.callMcpTool in Cowork-style hosts) to fetch findings/compliance into a dashboard.
3. Generate weekly reports as Markdown / DOCX.
4. Schedule the dashboard refresh.
