Module 24: Remediate with Claude Code
Track 5 · Prowler + Claude Code · Time: ~55 min · Pass: 8/10
Scenario
You detected an issue (Module 23). Now you fix it, at scale and safely. You'll use Claude Code to generate remediation scripts, propose IaC changes as PRs, file tickets, and verify the fix landed via a follow-up scan. No mouse clicks.
Loop steps taught here: Plan the fix, Execute, Verify from Module 22. Plan comes from Prowler's deterministic remediation knowledge (
prowler_get_finding_details,prowler_hub_get_check_fixer); Execute is the agent's work in your repo and tools (Prowler MCP does not change your cloud); Verify is a Prowler rescan (prowler_trigger_scan,prowler_get_scan). Planning and verifying work from any MCP-capable agent; Execute depends on the tools and approvals you grant that agent. Keep human approval on write tools (see the guardrails in Module 22).
Learning objectives
- Generate AWS CLI/Terraform remediation snippets from a finding.
- Open a PR with the fix on a local checkout.
- Create a Jira ticket and a Slack message from Claude Code.
- Run a follow-up Prowler scan to verify fix.
