Scenario
Cloudsmiths' platform spans AWS (primary), Azure (analytics), GCP (data lake), Kubernetes (production workloads in all three), Microsoft 365 (corporate), GitHub (source code), and Okta (workforce identity). You'll run Prowler against each, document the authentication path, and capture the top 3 risks per provider.
Learning objectives
- Authenticate Prowler to AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, M365, GitHub, Okta, MongoDB Atlas, and IaC, and know the other providers (Oracle Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, OpenStack, Cloudflare, Vercel, Google Workspace, container images).
- Run a scan against each and interpret first findings.
- Decide which auth model your org should standardize on per provider.
